CHARDONNAY Spätlese 2000

This wine has a lovely golden yellow colour, with a slight greenish tinge. On the nose it displays a surprisingly fresh and varietal character. This character has been maintained for over a decade. The intense aroma of tropical fruits, peach and pear is very well preserved. Smoky notes in the background are accompanied by flavours of dried fruit. It has a medium-fullbody, with notes of dried fruit, a result of a truly special harvest. The aftertaste is long and composed of dried fruits such as figs, apricots and plums.

Aroma: An intense aroma, very varietal and fresh, with tropical fruits, peach, pear, dry fruits (apricots, figs) and hints of smoke in the background.
Geur: A sweet taste with ripe acidity. It hasclassic varietal characteristics with flavours of dried apricots, figs and raisins and has a slightly oily texture.
