PINOT BLANC Auslese 1971

This wine has a high golden, almost amber colour with a slight greenish tint. On the nose, a wide range of herbs, dried fruit, honey, ripe tropical fruits and caramel appear, wrapped in a note of smoke. The taste revealsa lovely balance of residual sugar and mature acidity. Notes of dried fruits prevail, in combination with hints of spices and smoke. In the spicy aftertaste, these tastes linger, supplemented by notes of maturation in wooden barrels.

Aroma: A concentrated varietal aroma, still quite varietal, with characteristics of wine that hasmaturated in the bottle. Notes of dried fruits, dried herbs, honey, ripe tropical fruits, smoke and caramel can also be experienced.
Flavour: A sweet taste with a mature acidity. It is slightly oily, with dried fruits, spices, tea and smoke and has characteristics of wine that has matured in wooden barrels.
