CHARDONNAY 1989
Hele goede wijn, kan nog jaren rijpen
This wine has a golden colour with a slight greenish tint. The aroma is still varietal and fruity, with hints of ripe tropical fruits in combination with spices. The note of maturing in wooden barrels nicely complements the honey and dried fruits in the background On the palate; the acidity is complemented by residual sugar. It has a varietal character, which can be noticed in the aroma. Tropical fruits, quince and pears are interwoven with spices and make the aftertaste pleasant and slightly spicy, with a note of dried fruits.
Kleur: A golden colour with a slight greenish hue.
Aroma: A medium-intense aroma, still varietal, ripe tropical fruits, spices, notes of maturing wooden barrels, honey and dried fruits in the background.
Geur: A medium-full flavour, few grams of residual sugar, lively but mature acidity, ripe tropical fruits, quince, dried fruits and spices. It is slightly oily, spicy and slightly bitter.
