SAUVIGNON BLANC Spätlese 1999
Goede wijn, kan nog jaren rijpen
This wine has a pleasant golden yellow colour with a slight greenish tint. The aroma is still quite varietal, with notes of matured hay, spices and background hints of dried fruit and smoke. On the palate, the lively acidity is nicely balanced with residual sugar. After a few seconds, the taste of dried fruit (apricots in particular) becomes apparent and remains in the aftertaste, together with a touch of smoke.
Kleur: A medium intense golden yellow colour with a slight greenish tint.
Aroma: A medium-intense, varietal, aroma of hay, spices, dried fruit, smoke.
Geur: On the palate one can taste the residual sugar and lively acidity, as well as notes of dried apricots and smoke.
